ChatGPT: the default, but which tier?
OpenAI now sells five versions of ChatGPT, from free to $200. GPT-6 arrived on September 22, 2026, and the $200 Pro tier stopped taking new sign-ups on September 10, so the ladder looks different from last month.

Verdict: The safe default. Go at $8 is the value pick, Plus at $20 is the full product, and Pro only makes sense if you hit Plus limits every day.
